Our Challenge |
|
|
|
The Norfolk Foundation has issued a challenge to the
new Eastern Shore of Virginia Community Foundation (ESVCF). If the
foundation raises $4 million in new funds by January 2009, the
Norfolk Foundation will provide an additional $2 million for an
unrestricted grantmaking fund dedicated to the Eastern Shore. The
Norfolk Foundation challenge extends to ESVCF a wonderful
opportunity to achieve economic viability within a relatively short
time period.
To raise $4 million in three years is a very
significant undertaking, and broad community support will be
essential for the goal to be reached. |
