Creating A Fund

Establishing a fund with the Eastern Shore of Virginia Community Foundation is simple, with the principle document being a fund agreement between the donor, ESVCF, and the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, which holds all ESVCF capital assets in keeping with the affiliate relationship between the two Foundations. An individual, family, business, nonprofit organization or a private foundation can create a fund and receive all the attendant benefits. These include administrative oversight, record-keeping services, and timely distribution of grants by the Hampton Roads Community Foundation. Also ESVCF can provide assistance in identifying grant opportunities for donors with donor advised funds.
